These are just a few pieces I've made. The pictures of the girl in the field and the boy picking flowers are based on illustrations from a Moore-Wilson Reader from 1927 and are made with ink and watercolors. The other paintings are done in acrylic paint.
The card envelope's background was created by scanning a picture of the fabric used on the favor. Another card containing more details of the shower slips into the card envelope. The favor bag could be filled with anything from soaps to chocolates. The possibilities are endless!
This card was created by scanning a "picture" of the fabric on my computer and then using the same fabric for the favor. The possibilities are endless! The favor bag could be filled with soaps, chocolates, etc...
These items were made using mainly antique linens. I just discovered all the things you can do with your computer and iron on sheets... as you can plainly see!
These pieces are from a wedding shower. The invitation card was done in layers... the first page was the invitation and the layers beneath gave additional information. The favor used was a decorated cookie in the plastic envelope. Little cards with Italian verses were placed all over and cards were used to identify coffee, tea... etc.
Okay... so I am going to try and create a blog! I'm continually creating things and need an outlet! So here goes!!! This is an example of something I made for a birthday card... don't know exactly what she is but I like her! I created her with bits and scraps from previous projects.
